Angola

Angola was the last stop on this Three-country-visit and Lusophony country coverage. It is a very expensive place to visit. Quite a few expatriates come here to work for the Oil-industry, but very few tourists find their way to Angola. You have to deal with a black-market rate which is almost double of what you get as an official rate. Difficult though to find someone to exchange with, as the authorities are looking out for these money changers. The highlight of my visit was definitely the Kissama National Park, which lies only some 2 hours drive south from Luanda along the coast. This can be done in a day or two. Definately worth while.
