Back in the years 2006 and 2007, I managed a company where we decided to set-up an assembly production facility in Teheran, Iran. This meant a few trips to the capital of Iran. I unfortunately did not have time to see anything of this supposedly beautiful country filled with amazing architectural sites. The few shots are from a mobile phone hence the poor quality. There is a trip penciled in my travel-plans hopefully in the not so distant future. My main takeaway from these trips are the hard-working, dedicated and friendly people.

Costa Rica
A two-week roundtrip to Costa Rica with my family in 2008. One of not so many countries which is catering towards Eco-tourism. Most or all of the national forests and parks are Eco-certfied today. This trip included a couple of days in San José - the capital - but then we continued to criss-cross the country to cover as much as possible. We went to the Atlantic coast and the amazing Tortuguero National Park. From there we continued to Arenal, the volcano, and onwards to the cloud forrest area of Monteverde. We ended up on on the Pacific coast and Tambor beach with a couple of days just relaxing after some quite active days.
