Back in the years 2006 and 2007, I managed a company where we decided to set-up an assembly production facility in Teheran, Iran. This meant a few trips to the capital of Iran. I unfortunately did not have time to see anything of this supposedly beautiful country filled with amazing architectural sites. The few shots are from a mobile phone hence the poor quality. There is a trip penciled in my travel-plans hopefully in the not so distant future. My main takeaway from these trips are the hard-working, dedicated and friendly people.

Victoria Falls, had been on my list for a long time. Now we flew up from South Africa to celebrate New Years Eve here and a couple of days in connection. Livingstone, the local city is only a connection point to the falls. We were unfortunate not to have booked rooms at the Royal Livingstone as it was fully booked. Not happy with the place we stayed at. We did however dine at the Royal Livingstone on the veranda with a view overlooking the falls. The main thrill of this visit was definitely traveling down the Zambezi river on rafts. Tough, but a lot of fun.
