I finally made it to the home country of the legendary Bob Marley and Usain Bolt. I stayed up in the Blue Mountains at the lovely City View Hotel. I had a stunning view overlooking all of Kinston with my own balcony. Jamaica is of course a lot more than Kingston, however since I lost one day due to delayed flights, I did not have time to travel to Montego Bay on the west coast, but I did cover most of Kingston. I particularly enjoyed Trench town, which is district of Kingston where Bob Marley first lived during his early days of fame. The museum is located in the house where he lived his last 20 years until he died in 1980. This is a little bit touristy, but still worth a stop. The Devon house and the old parts of Kingston is also worth a visit.
