Iran
Back in the years 2006 and 2007, I managed a company where we decided to set-up an assembly production facility in Teheran, Iran. This meant a few trips to the capital of Iran. I unfortunately did not have time to see anything of this supposedly beautiful country filled with amazing architectural sites. The few shots are from a mobile phone hence the poor quality. There is a trip penciled in my travel-plans hopefully in the not so distant future. My main takeaway from these trips are the hard-working, dedicated and friendly people.

Panama
Panama City was primarily a stop-over and gateway on my way to visiting Nicaragua and El Salvador. I always wanted to see the canal of course, which I did. Miraflores locks is the best area to see the ships pass in and out of the canal, just outside Panama City. Panama Viejo (old part of the city) was also quite nice to stroll around. Otherwise, I felt that the city is hyper modern and does not have that much charm. A couple of days was quite enough, when only seeing Panama City, as I did not have time to travel around this small country. When coming next time, It will have to be in connection to trying out the Darian gap into Colombia.
