Iran
Back in the years 2006 and 2007, I managed a company where we decided to set-up an assembly production facility in Teheran, Iran. This meant a few trips to the capital of Iran. I unfortunately did not have time to see anything of this supposedly beautiful country filled with amazing architectural sites. The few shots are from a mobile phone hence the poor quality. There is a trip penciled in my travel-plans hopefully in the not so distant future. My main takeaway from these trips are the hard-working, dedicated and friendly people.

During the summer of 1988, Central America was on the radar. More specifically, it was a tour covering the Mayan culture starting in Mexico with the main sights of Teotihuacán, Palenque, Chitzen Itzá, Uxmal moving on to Xunantunich in Belize, the magnificent sights of Tikan in northern Guatemala and all the way down to Copán i Honduras. Belize was second in line after Mexico. I entered crossing the border in the north of Belize. Traveling down by road to Belize City where I spent a night before going out into the archipelago and Cay Caulker more specifically. Great seafood at low prices. The only upset I had in Belize was when I was held up at gun-point in Belize City one evening. Fortunately nothing came of it, but is was scary.
