Back in the years 2006 and 2007, I managed a company where we decided to set-up an assembly production facility in Teheran, Iran. This meant a few trips to the capital of Iran. I unfortunately did not have time to see anything of this supposedly beautiful country filled with amazing architectural sites. The few shots are from a mobile phone hence the poor quality. There is a trip penciled in my travel-plans hopefully in the not so distant future. My main takeaway from these trips are the hard-working, dedicated and friendly people.

Bolivia
Having tried to get to Bolivia a couple of times during the Pandemic period, not easy, we finally made it in connection to our Matzés expedition in Peru. This however meant that the Uyuni salt flats in the south of Bolivia had to be crossed out of the program due to time constraints. All-in-all, I felt we had a very good program and managed to cover quite a bit in the short period of stay including lake Titicaca, the Chalcaltaya mountain and glacier lake. We did the Youngas "death road" on mountain bikes and saw quite a bit of La Paz and surroundings. The top restaurants were also covered.
